Granite is an igneous rock. It could be said that granite tiles are as old as the earth itself. Granite is formed when molten rock from the core of the planet is pushed toward the surface to form a substance approaching the hardness of a diamond. Granite owes this hardness to the fact that it has been solidified deep within the earth under a huge amount of pressure.
Granite is by far the hardest of all building stones with a very dense grain. Granite's density makes it virtually impervious to liquids and therefore highly suitable for any interior use. Granite can be polished to a high gloss finish which will endure the harshest of environments. These characteristics make it ideal for granite worktops and granite tile flooring.
We have on display over 18 different colours, sizes of Granite tiles as well as 30 different Granite worktops colours to choose from.
